The bureau further projects a 12% job growth rate for sales managers, a 3%-9% rate for loss prevention managers and a 36% rate for cost estimators during the 2010-2020 decade. The average predicted employment growth rate for all jobs in the U.S. from 2010 to 2020, the BLS states, is 14%.

The BLS listed an annual median salary of $95,440 for operations managers in May of 2012. Information security analysts saw a median annual income of $86,170 at that time, according to the BLS, and sales managers made a median amount of $105,260 per year. The median yearly wages for loss prevention managers and cost estimators that year were $100,890 and $58,860, respectively, as per BLS data.
