Certified Nursing Home Administrator: Certification Requirements

The certified nursing home administrator must first acquire a degree - a bachelor's degree is accepted, however, the master's degree is becoming the standard - in a field related to healthcare administration. Secondly, the individual must become licensed by their state board and complete continuing education requirements. Requirements for education and licensure vary by state.
