The BBA with a finance concentration program focuses mainly on the areas of corporate finance, investment, financial markets and real estate. A mandatory business core must be completed as part of this program, including courses like accounting, strategic management, business law, marketing and finance. Students pursuing a general finance option will complete core courses, like financial management and financial cases, and may select from electives in areas like financial models, real estate, investment, insurance, spreadsheet models and financial markets. Real estate emphasis courses may include financial management, land development, real estate law, appraisal and investment.
Master of Business Administration with a Finance Concentration
The MBA with a finance concentration program is available as either a full or part-time program and can be completed in as little as 36 credit hours. All students pursuing an MBA must have already completed courses in statistics and business math. Core courses in the business curriculum include operations management, economics, analysis, information systems, management and organizational behavior. The finance concentration includes courses in subjects like financial markets, risk management, investments, international finance and financial modeling.
