Pace University

Operating on three campuses located in New York, Westchester and White Plains, Pace University was established as a college in 1948 and gained university status in 1973. In 2010, the not-for-profit private school enrolled approximately 13,000 undergraduate and graduate students. It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and chartered by the New York Department of Education Board of Regents. In 2011, U.S. News and World Report ranked it one of the best national universities and The Princeton Review ranked it among the best Northeastern colleges.

Although some graduate classes are held on the University's White Plains campus, the Lubin School of Business is located in downtown New York, near Grand Central Station. As of 2011, it was the largest private business school in the U.S., serving approximately 2,800 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. Many of the professors of its eight undergraduate and six graduate degree programs possess a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in business or a related field, and several of them earned undergraduate degrees from Ivy League or foreign schools. Students in its international business programs focus their studies on Asian, European or Latin American business and study the region's business practices, language and culture. International Business Programs

Bachelor of Business Administration in International Management

The core curriculum teaches international business law and management, strategy, organizational behavior and human resources. Other classes focus on the student's chosen region and career concentration, options for which include economics, finance, marketing or entrepreneurship. Students complete research projects while studying abroad or with faculty on the main campus. The 4-year program also offers minors in East Asian, French, Italian and Latin American studies.

Master of Business Administration in International Business

This program focuses on the economic, political and technological differences between American and foreign businesses. Subjects taught include investor responsibility, managerial systems, international human resource management and international accounting. Students in these programs must also choose regional and career concentration and complete a research project.
