The universities have both been ranked by the Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report. While the University of Southern California offers a master's degree in computer security, Iowa State University offers classes to both undergraduate and graduate students. Top Cyber Security Schools and Colleges
1. University of Southern California in Los Angeles
In 2010, the Princeton Review listed the University of Southern California among Best Western Colleges. In 2011, the school was ranked 23rd on the list of best universities nationwide by U.S. News and World Report. The computer security specialization is available at the master's degree level. Topics students can learn in this program include:

2. Iowa State University in Ames
U.S. News and World Report ranked Iowa State University 94th in their Best Colleges of 2011 publication. The Princeton Review called Iowa State University one of the best Midwest schools in 2010. In addition to computer science degrees, Iowa State University's Department of Computer Science also offers programs in information assurance. The information assurance program is geared towards graduate students, but undergraduate students can take several of these upper-division classes.
