Many courses in business law fall under continuing education for attorneys or are taken as parts of a J.D. (Juris Doctor) or L.L.M. (Master of Laws) degree. Other online business law courses are aimed at students pursuing an undergraduate degree, most commonly a Bachelor of Science in Law or a paralegal associate's degree. Contracts

In this course, students conduct a study of the legal agreements that exist between two or more people or entities. The different types of legal agreements and the different important aspects of each are discussed.

Corporations

This course is an analysis of the procedures involved in forming a corporation, as well as the rights and duties of the members of the corporation, including directors, shareholders and corporate officers. Special attention is given to court-made legal principles that involve corporations as well as to the impact of federal regulations on corporations.

Corporate Securities Law

This course focuses on federal and state regulations and laws in regard to business and enterprises. The trading and issuing of stocks, bonds and other securities is also covered in depth.
