Epidemiology Principles Course
This course provides students with an introduction to the procedures and principles of epidemiology. This class is designed for government and private sector health professionals responsible for investigating the causes of disease, this class explores the methods and concepts.
Advanced Pediatric Pharmacology Course
In this class, students gain an understanding of the advanced concepts of pediatric pharmacology. The course explores the administration of medicine and medications commonly prescribed to pediatric patients. Emphasis is placed on medications for the gastro-intestinal, cardio-respiratory and genitor-urinary systems. Students learn which antibiotic and dermatological medications and vaccines are the most effective in pediatric patients.
Principles of Advanced Physiology Course
Students gain knowledge of human physiology and anatomy in this class. The course places emphasis on the physiological principles needed by a nurse practitioner. The course features research performed on molecular, biochemical and organ system functions, along with age-related physiological theories through an individual's life span.
