University of Colorado Denver

The University of Colorado Denver (UC Denver) is a large research university within the University of Colorado System. The school houses 13 schools and over 132 degree programs. It was founded in 1883 with two instructors, two students and two classrooms. Today, almost 24,000 students attend UC Denver. The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accredits the university.

The UC Denver Business School, located on the downtown campus, is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting

In addition to other requirements, this program requires 30 credit hours of accounting classes covering subjects such as accounting systems and data processing, cost accounting, income tax accounting and auditing. Students may further specialize in finance accounting, managerial accounting or accounting and information systems. In addition to basic requirements, classes in statistics and information systems courses are highly recommended.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Financial Management

This program requires completion of at least 120 credit hours, including general education classes. Students take classes covering topics in corporate finance, financial markets, investment management, business capital management and cost accounting.

Master of Science in Accounting
