The Culinary Institute of America has three campus locations in New York, California and Texas. It was listed in U.S. News and World Report's 2015 Best Colleges. The institute offers certificate, associate's and bachelor's degree programs in culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, and wine and beverages. 2. Johnson & Wales University (JWU) in Providence, Rhode Island
Originally founded as a business school in 1914, Johnson & Wales University expanded through the years to offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas that include technology, education and culinary arts. U.S. News and Report included JWU on its 2015 Best Colleges list. JWU has four campuses in Rhode Island, Florida, Colorado and North Carolina. Within the College of Culinary Arts, students can pursue an associate's or bachelor's degree in baking and pastry arts.
