1.The University of Texas at Austin

With a student population of over 50,000, the University of Texas at Austin (UT) is one of the largest public universities in the nation. In 2014, UT was 52nd in U.S. News & World Report's ranking of top U.S. universities.

Graduate and undergraduate programs in exercise science and physiology are offered by the College of Education. A program leading to a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health with an option in exercise science is designed to prepare students for further professional studies in physical and occupation therapy and sports-related fields. Exercise physiology graduate degree programs include a M.Ed., Master of Arts (M.A.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). A M.Ed. in Clinical Exercise Physiology with a required internship is also available.

The School of Public Health offers a bachelor's degree program in kinesiological sciences, which comprises of courses in exercise and aging, fitness assessment, and exercise rehabilitation.
