3. University of Alaska Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Fairbanks offers aviation maintenance certificate programs through its College of Rural and Community Development at the UAF Community and Technical College. Students can complete 31 credits for either an airframe or powerplant certificate program or combine the training with a 49-credit-hour certificate program. Those who earn a certificate in both airframe and powerplant could apply those credits toward an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance.
