Bradley University is located in Peoria, Illinois and is a private educational institution. Founded in 1897 by philanthropist Lydia Moss Bradley, the university was given its name in memory of her deceased children and husband. 3. Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa
Clarke University is a Catholic college created by Mother Mary Frances Clarke in 1843. The school was originally known as a boarding school for women until it became a 4-year university for both men and women in 1979. Clarke University was ranked 162th among national liberal arts colleges in 2011 by U.S. News and World Report.
Public relations and advertising concentrations can be found under the umbrella of communications. Both topic areas are taught together alongside journalism and broadcasting.
