1. Indiana University in Bloomington
Indiana University (IU) is a statewide university system that serves nearly 99,000 students. IU - Bloomington, one of the university system's eight campuses, was ranked 31st among top public schools, according to U.S. News and World Report in 2012. IU - Bloomington's Department of Kinesiology offers a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in sport management. Program courses cover an array of sport management topics, including administration, law, marketing, strategy, communication and financial analysis. 2. University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC - Chapel Hill) opened in 1795 as the nation's first state university.
