1. Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts
Endicott College is a liberal arts school that was listed at #74 among Regional Universities (North) by U.S. News & World Report in 2014. The School of Sport Science and Fitness Studies offers a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management; students take classes in philosophy and psychology of sport, marketing and sales, public speaking and relations, and sports law. Graduates complete three internships during their studies at Endicott.
2. The University of Tampa in Florida
The University of Tampa (UT) was ranked #22 in the Regional Universities - South category by U.S. News & World Report in 2014. Coursework in the sports management bachelor' program includes sports history, stadium management, economics, finance, and media relations. The bachelor's degree includes a 12-credit hour internship for a sports organization. The UT program has been approved by NASSM, and the university is positioned in the downtown Bay-area, which is home to a number of major college and professional sporting teams.
