Water Distribution Classes and Training Programs
Water distribution systems treat a community's water supply and deliver water to customers' homes. Training options for water distribution operator jobs vary by state and are dictated by state water distribution regulations. Read on for information on what courses are involved in a water distribution training program.
Water distribution workers must usually have state licensing to show that they have the skills needed to safely operate and maintain water treatment and pumping equipment. A water distribution certificate or an associate's degree program in water utility science can provide the training needed to be a water distribution operator and to qualify for state licensing exams.
