2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA

The undergraduate major in management science is one of MIT's most popular majors. The curriculum combines quantitative methods in management with psychology, communication and organizational behavior.

3. University of California - Berkeley in Berkeley, CA

1. Williams College in Williamstown, MA

Williams College is a small, private, liberal arts school, serving just over 2,000 students. The college's three academic divisions of humanities, sciences and social sciences comprise 33 diverse majors, including psychology, music, anthropology, theater and Chinese.

2. Amherst College in Amherst, MA

Located in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts, the town of Amherst is within proximity of three other liberal arts colleges and one university. Amherst College is one of the smallest in the group, with a student population under 2,000. Students may choose from 34 majors leading to a Bachelor of Arts, including American studies, economics, religion and neuroscience. Swarthmore College, located outside Philadelphia, offers small seminars and a low student-faculty ratio for its student body of just under 1,500. Majors range from comparative literature and computer science to gender and sexuality studies, Islamic studies and biology.

Best Undergraduate Engineering Schools

1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA

MIT engineering majors may choose from eight specialties, including civil and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering and biological engineering. They also can work with a faculty adviser to create a personalized degree program, combining multiple engineering disciplines, if desired.

2. Stanford University in Stanford, CA

Students entering Stanford University are encouraged to complete the first two years of their undergraduate study in departments other than engineering.
