They usually lead to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business. 1. University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA

In 2011, the University of Pennsylvania had the number one undergraduate business school in the country, according to the U.S. News & World Report. The university's Wharton School, the nation's first business school, has more than 250 business professors serving approximately 2,600 undergraduate students across 11 academic departments. Undergraduate students can pursue a generalized Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics, which offers concentrations in 21 areas, including public policy and business, business ethics and legal studies, real estate, retailing and statistics. Additional school features include the chance to establish professional contacts at recruiting events or use the school's alumni database to gain advice from business professionals.

2. University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN

In 2011, Bloomberg Business Week ranked Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business as the best undergraduate business school in the U.S. In the same year, the school was designated as a 'Best Midwestern College' by The Princeton Review. Undergraduates can earn a BBA with a specialization in accounting, information technology management or consulting; specializations in marketing, finance or entrepreneurship are also available. Students can also pursue research opportunities and study abroad programs in Egypt, Japan or other locations.

3. University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia offers an undergraduate program in business that was ranked fifth among its peers by U.S. News and World Report in 2011, as well as second in the nation by Bloomberg Business Week. At the McIntire School, students can pursue a B.S. in Business Administration in one of six concentrations. These include accounting, finance and information technology, as well as international business, management and marketing. Undergraduates can also minor in leadership and complete one of three subspecialty tracks in entrepreneurship, real estate or global commerce.
