Certification Programs in New Jersey with School Options
Certificates are earned at 2-year colleges, trade schools and graduate schools. New Jersey students can earn certifications for trades, teaching, health care and just about any occupation. School Options for Certification in New Jersey
Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey, has a drug and alcohol counseling certification program that meets all requirements of the Addiction Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey, Inc. (APCBNJ, Inc.). The college, which has a student population of 15,283, is in eastern New Jersey near Hackensack and Hillsdale.
The College of New Jersey, located in Ewing, New Jersey, offers three English as a Second Language (ESL) certification programs that meet the education requirements of the New Jersey State Board of Education. The certification programs are ESL initial certification, teaching English as a second language and bilingual education certification.
The Metropolitan Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey offers a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC) certification program in conjunction with a master's degree program.
