This public university was among 2010's top 50 colleges, according to U.S. News & World Report. Through the college's Division of Continuing Education's distance learning initiative, correspondence students can earn undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Degree programs available by correspondence include Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sport Management, Master of Arts (MA) in Latin, Master of Education, Master of Engineering, Master of Science (MS) in Engineering, Master of Public Health and Doctor of Audiology degrees. These programs are entirely home-based and completed with the assistance of textbooks, virtual classrooms, instructional videos, CD-ROMs and proctored tests.

2. Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA
