California State University - Fullerton

California State University - Fullerton (CSUF) is located 14 miles southwest of Diamond Bar. Through its nine colleges, CSUF offers 55 bachelor's degree programs, 49 master's degree programs and one doctoral degree program - a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.). The Princeton Review includes the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics in the 2010 edition of The Best 301 Business Schools. It's the largest business school in California and the fifth largest in the U.S. For those interested in a performing arts career, CSUF also has a notable program in musical theater.

East Los Angeles College

East Los Angeles College (ELAC) is located approximately 21 miles west of Diamond Bar in the southern portion of Monterey Park, CA. It offers certificate, associate's degree and transfer programs in 29 subject areas. ELAC also collaborates with Los Angeles Mission College on the Regional Contract Academy of Training, which draws on industry-specific expertise to provide customized career and customer service training. As of 2010, ELAC was in the process of building a new performing and fine arts complex to bolster its arts education programs.

Santa Ana College

Santa Ana College (SAC) is located 21 miles south of Diamond Bar in the northwest corner of Santa Ana, CA. It's seven divisions offer certificates, associate's degrees and vocational training programs in roughly 150 areas, including nursing, engineering, media technology and many more. SAC's fire technology program in particular has gained national recognition. SAC ranked 8th in degrees granted to Latino students and 18th in degrees granted to Asian-American students, according to Community College Week in 2008.
