Emphasizing theory and practice, this program's courses develop students' abilities to create and edit various forms of media through the use of digital software.

Florida Atlantic University

Located in Boca Raton, Florida Atlantic University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies program. Analyzing both old and new media, students in this program can learn about media production techniques and practices. They also have the opportunity to choose between sequences in multimedia journalism or film, video, and new media. Each of these sequences incorporates 120 credit hours and includes production courses and a multimedia practicum. Florida State College at Jacksonville

Located in Jacksonville, Florida State College offers a Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Media program. Indian River State College

Located in Fort Pierce, Indian River State College offers a Bachelor of Applied Science program in digital media. Miami Dade College

Miami Dade College is located in Miami and has a 120-credit Bachelor of Applied Science program in film, television, and digital production. Offered through the School of Visual Arts and Design, the 120-credit Bachelor of Arts program in digital media educates students in digital media technologies and theories.
