You Can Be a English Second Language Teacher

ESL teachers are in demand globally. They may work as teachers, translators or interpreters in many different businesses and industries. They work in countries where English is a foreign language and in countries where English is the primary language. Qualifications to become an ESL teacher vary from country to country. There is no universal international standard for ESL teachers. Schools in many countries only require that teachers be native English speakers. Others require that teachers have university degrees. To teach in the US, you will either need a bachelors or masters degree and will need to be licensed to teach ESL if you are planning to work in the public school systems.
