GED Test Results
How Do I Locate and Interpret GED Test Results?
Locating your General Education Development (GED) test results depends on where you took the exam. Depending on the location, GED rest Results can take up to several weeks to be returned to the testing center. Once the exam is graded, one must contact the appropriate personnel at the testing center where the GED was taken. The only exception to this is if the GED test was taken while in the military, job corps or correctional institution; these results require students to fill out a transcript request form from the American Council on Education and pay a $14.00 fee. GED test results include two numbers, the numerical 'standard' score and a percentile rank. Scores are listed for each of the five individual test subjects. In order to pass, students must earn at least a 410 in each category and a total score of 2250 on their GED test results.
