University of California - Los Angeles

California State University - Northridge

Located approximately ten miles northwest of Glendale, California State University - Northridge is one of the largest single-campus universities in the United States. The university has nine colleges and is situated on a 356-acre campus in the San Fernando Valley. Over 60 bachelor's degrees, 52 master's and 55 teaching credential programs are available at California State University - Northridge. East Los Angeles College

East Los Angeles college is a 2-year school offering certificate and associate degree programs. Located approximately ten miles southeast of Glendale and ten miles east of downtown Los Angeles, the campus sits in the suburban community of Monterey Park. The college features several large sports complexes, including a 20,000-seat stadium and a 1,500-seat indoor swimming facility.
