Clemson University

Clemson University offers close to 190 degree programs, including 110 at the graduate level. Programs exist leading to master's degrees, doctoral degrees, and specialist's certificates, offered through the College of Agriculture, Forestry & Life Sciences, the College of Business & Behavioral Science, the College of Architecture, Arts & Humanities, the College of Engineering & Science, and the College of Health, Education & Human Development. University of South Carolina at Columbia

Of the eight campuses comprising the University of South Carolina, Columbia is the largest. With 1,608 full-time faculty and 14 schools, USC Columbia offers 350 degree programs. Students seeking graduate degrees can choose among master's, doctoral and certificate programs in fields as diverse as studio art, nuclear engineering or public health. Graduate students in good standing who are registered for six graduate-level credits may also earn a stipend as a graduate assistant for a maximum of 20 hours each week.

College of Charleston

The College of Charleston offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a historic setting in downtown Charleston. The college's graduate school is home to nearly 1,500 graduate students with an average of 12 students in each class. The graduate school offers 19 master's degree programs which prepare students for professional careers, academic research or specialized fields in education. Shorter certificate programs are available as well. Many programs take advantage of the campus's unique location; Charleston's proximity to the coast creates opportunities for marine biology research, while students studying for a master's in historic preservation are surrounded by examples of historic structures.
