Sacramento Schools for HVAC Training

HVAC programs prepare students for careers in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of indoor climate control systems. HVAC professionals are responsible for servicing refrigerators, air conditioners, boilers and heat pumps. In addition to learning about these systems, students may also need to gain certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in order to handle refrigeration chemicals. This article looks at three schools that are within 20 minutes of downtown Sacramento and at the training programs they provide. It also includes a table that presents information a prospective student should know about each school, such as school size and costs.
