The AAS curriculum includes a mandatory course in corporate income tax that takes place online and addresses such topics as itemized deductions, special taxes, tax return preparation, and gross income tax exclusions. Upon completion of this program, students are eligible to take the Minnesota Registered Accounting Practitioner (RAP) test, after which they will need an additional year of professional experience to become an RAP.
