Principles of Logistics
Introductory logistics classes familiarize students with the basic concepts of product distribution and the terminology used in the logistics field. Students learn the process of planning effective product distribution and discuss methods of transportation and traffic management techniques. Other topics covered in introductory logistics classes may include inventory control, protective packaging and customer service.
Supply Chain and Logistics Strategy
Logistics and supply chain strategy courses examine the role of logistics in business. Students examine the principles of customer service, ways to plan and manage supply chains and even steps for arranging product transportation and distribution.
