Naturopathy Schools in Florida
There are no naturopathy schools in Florida, and the practice of naturopathic medicine is not permitted in Florida as a stand-alone medical practice. Since naturopathy involves natural techniques, including massage, botanicals and herbals, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and homeopathy, schools that offer programs in these techniques may be an acceptable alternative to the prospective naturopathy student or professional wishing to enhance his or her medical practice with naturopathic modalities. There are over 20 Florida schools that offer programs compatible with naturopathic techniques. This article discusses ten schools that provide a variety of programs, including massage therapy, Oriental medicine, acupuncture and holistic nursing.
