University of Hartford
Established in 1957, the University of Hartford has grown from a commuter school to a large residential campus that offers nearly 90 undergraduate and over 30 graduate degree programs, as well as certificates and diplomas. Located approximately 14 miles north of New Britain, the university's seven schools and colleges offer programs in the arts and sciences, business, education, health professions, engineering and architecture. Tunxis Community College in Farmington
Tunxis Community College is a 2-year, public college located in Farmington, which is just five miles from New Britain.
