Online Auto Mechanic Colleges, Universities, and Trade Schools

Auto mechanics maintain and repair vehicle transmissions, brakes, fuel systems and air conditioning units. Online auto mechanic colleges, universities and trade schools provide the same types of classroom instruction offered by campus-based programs. They differ, however, in that campus-based programs have an on-site garage where students are able to put their learning to the test. Some online auto mechanic curricula also contain classes in business, customer service or bookkeeping for those students desiring to open their own auto mechanic businesses. In addition, some online auto mechanic college, universities and trade schools include an internship to give students hands-on experience.
