Criminal Justice
"As a sophomore in high school, I began volunteering at a local refuge for abused and neglected children. Over a period of two years, I became particularly close with a family of six extraordinary children who have endured more than any person should have to endure throughout a lifetime. These children are the reason I am pursuing a degree in criminal justice. After witnessing what the system put these children through, I knew I would be pursuing a career that would allow me to help children in similar situations. I truly believe that a law degree would allow me the greatest potential to make a difference in the lives of children who have been abused and/or neglected. Therefore, I plan on completing my undergraduate degree in criminal justice at Boise State University and continuing my education via law school."
