Normandale Community College
Music Therapy Major
"I heard about this scholarship through the community college I was attending. They sent me an email saying "Scholarship Opportunities" and I saw that this one was relatively easy and not that time consuming. So I went ahead and wrote how this scholarship will help me in furthering my education. My future career goal is to be a music therapist. Music has always been a part of me and making people happy and better is what I live for. If I can change someone's life for the better through music, I know I've done something great. I plan to attend Berklee College of Music fall 2013, the audition is later this year and it is quite an expensive school. Every cent counts and this is an amazing gift from Education-Portal.com. Education-Portal offers so much more than scholarships. They have descriptions on programs and different careers so kids really know what they'll be studying. That's a great tool because some college websites don't go to into much depth about their programs. Thank you so much for this opportunity! It helps immensely since I'm paying for college all on my own, books and everything, so thank you so much Education Portal!"
