Prior to enrolling in the Associate of Applied Science with a concentration in Emergency Management program at Baker's College, students must have 48 credits from Basic EMT, Paramedic, or Fire Fighter I & II credentials. Program Description:

Baker College's Associate of Applied Science with a concentration in Emergency Services Management program gives students the opportunity to learn about risk management, professional liability, quality assurance, certification, licensure, strategic planning, operational decisions, accounting principles, and budget preparation. Students take a communications elective course and four computer literacy elective courses. This program also includes general education courses in English, speech communications, math, and psychology. Students must take an emergency services management seminar intended to focus on emergency service issues. As part of the seminar, students complete a capstone project.
