Program Description:

The Associate of Applied Science in Human Resources Specialist program is designed to teach students about employee relations, employment law, labor relations, business principles, and human resource functions. An internship and capstone course is required as well as general education courses. The internship and capstone experience class is completed towards the end of enrollment. Other topics covered in the curriculum include accounting principles, introduction to compensation and benefits, an elective course, and law and ethics in the business environment.
