Program Description:

Grand Canyon University's Master of Education in Early Childhood Education (Leads to Credential) program offers students the opportunity to study the development of language and literacy, positive classroom management techniques, and instructional methodologies for teaching young children. Students may also learn about the health, safety, nutritional and fitness aspects of child growth and development, practices for exceptional learners, and how to monitor, assess and report on children's progress. The program includes 100 hours of embedded practicum, requires a 16-week student teaching internship, and is designed to prepare students for teaching certification in the state of Arizona.
