Program Description:
Enrollment in Jones International University's Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Health Care Management program offers students the opportunity to learn about business operations, organizational structure, economic theory and the financial flow of business, management theory and the legal system, including business, contract, regulatory and employment law. Students have the opportunity to study the impact of globalization on business and strategies for being globally competitive; marketing management, consumer behavior and methods and applications for marketing research; organizational communication; and financial accounting and management. Specialization coursework examines health care management policies and practices, leadership theory, the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) and Family Medical Leave Acts (FMLA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance and quality assurance methods, including The Six Sigma and DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve and control). The BBA capstone course allows students to design a professional development plan and develop their professional resume and portfolio.
