Program Description:

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology with a concentration in Software Development program at Southern New Hampshire University is designed to teach students about software development in distributed systems, digital business, and interactive virtual environments. Two elective courses are required; one focuses on software development within a specific programming language, and the other is a choice between 3-D virtual environments and an introduction to software development. Also included in the curriculum are core computer information technology and business courses to provide students with a relevant career-focused education. Core information technology courses cover topics such as discrete mathematics, database design and management, network and telecommunications management, and introduction to systems analysis and design.
