Program Description:

Walden University's B.S. in Business Administration program with a specialization in Accounting gives students the opportunity to learn about accounting, business law, macroeconomics, microeconomics, statistics, financial management, ethical leadership, financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing and internal controls, and federal taxation. Students complete a 5-credit accounting capstone project and take a 1-credit portfolio development course. In addition to accounting courses, this program includes 10 credits of elective courses. Upon completion of this program, students may be able to use problem-solving skills, communicate effectively, use accounting technologies, and analyze organizational risk.
