Program Description:

Walden University's Ph.D. in Public Health program with a specialization in Community Health Education focuses on the medical, social, political, ethical, and economic factors that typically affect public health systems. Curriculum covers general public health topics as well as topics specifically related to community action, health promotion, and disease education. Students have the opportunity to choose from three tracks to design a program that fits their needs. Track I is designed for students who hold a bachelor's or non-public health master's degree. Track II is designed for students who hold a CEPH-accredited M.P.H. or M.S. in Public Health. Track III is designed for students who hold a non-CEPH-accredited M.P.H. or M.S. in Public Health.
