Walden University's Special Education Endorsement Program in Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (K-12) with an M.S. in Education with a specialization in Special Education is designed for licensed teachers who want to learn how to address emotional/behavioral disorders in the classroom. The program incorporates the standards of the Council for Exceptional Children and the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium. While enrolled in the program, students examine characteristics of people with emotional/behavioral disorders and learn how to address learning needs. Students also get the opportunity to participate in supervised field work prior to graduation.
