Radiologic Technology Degree Programs in Fresno, CA

Students who are interested in a career in radiologic technology have only one option for training inside the city, Fresno City College, but admissions to that program were on hold as of December 2012. Located a little more than 50 miles from Fresno, Merced College offers a diagnostic radiologic technology degree. There is a lengthy waiting list for admission to its program. Both radiologic technology associate degree programs are sanctioned by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), the national accreditation body for the field. Graduates of both are eligible to acquire a license in California and to take the national certification test given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
