Known as 'The Center of Learning', the University of Central Arkansas is one of the fastest growing colleges in the U.S. Located generally east of Russellville but just 25 miles north of Little Rock, UCA is known for offering a wide variety of degree programs, a culturally rich campus and an innovative laptop program. Students at the University of Central Arkansas can earn a bachelor's degree in over 100 areas of study, including a long list of liberal arts degree programs. There are also 33 graduate courses of study and four doctoral programs to choose from, including communication sciences disorders, leadership studies, physical therapy and school psychology.

Arkansas Tech University in Russellville has something for everyone, offering more than 100 programs of study and 100 student organizations to choose from. With one of the highest graduation rates in the state and a student-to-faculty ratio that provides individual attention, Arkansas Tech University is growing fast. ATU offers a wide range of bachelor's degree programs, as well as a long list of minors. However, it may be best known for its associate degree programs, which include criminal justice and nuclear technology and its pre-professional programs, which include pre-law and pre-medical.

University of Arkansas Community College - Morrilton
The University of Arkansas Community College - Morrilton offers options for students who want to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree or get straight to work. For students who are looking to enter the workplace in less than two years, UACCM offers certificates of proficiency in majors such as computer maintenance and nursing assisting; 12-18 month programs are available in many other majors, including business, drafting and early childhood development. Students at the University of Arkansas Community College - Morrilton can also obtain associate's degrees in the arts, sciences, applied sciences and general studies, which will allow them to continue to a 4-year institution. Located approximately 20 miles east of Russellville, the University of Arkansas Community College - Morrilton is the only institution in the state of Arkansas that offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in petroleum technology, surveying and automotive collision repair.
