University of Illinois at Chicago
The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is located just southwest of downtown Chicago in the city's Little Italy neighborhood. UIC offers 74 bachelor's, 77 master's and 60 doctoral degree programs through its 15 colleges and schools. UIC has had a deep impact on the city and state. Approximately 10% of Chicago residents with a degree are UIC alumni, nearly 17% of doctors in Illinois graduated from UIC medical school and roughly 33% of the state's pharmacists graduated from the UIC College of Pharmacy. Among business schools granting a doctorate in business administration, the Chronicle of Higher Education ranked the UIC College of Business Administration #1 for scholarly output in 2007.

College of DuPage
The main campus of the College of DuPage (COD) is located approximately 15 miles outside Chicago's city limits in west suburban Glen Ellyn. The college has seven branch campuses located in Westmont, West Chicago, Naperville, Lombard, Carol Stream, Bloomingdale and Addison. COD offers 90 certificate, 59 occupational degree and 45 transfer degree programs through its departments of business and technology, continuing education and extended learning, health and sciences, learning resources and liberal arts. In particular, the meteorology component of its earth science degree program is notable for the opportunity it provides students to take part in storm chasing.

DeVry University - Illinois
DeVry University - Illinois is located near the Rosecoe Village neighborhood on Chicago's northwest side. The school's six divisions include business and management, engineering and information sciences, health sciences, liberal arts and sciences, media arts and technology and the graduate school of management. Together they offer five associate's, 11 bachelor's and seven master's degree programs. In addition, the bachelor's programs in multimedia design and development, computer information systems and technical management have a total of 29 specializations between them. Business administration is the most heavily enrolled program at both the bachelor's and master's degree level.
