Stanford University in Stanford, CA

Stanford University is nationally renowned as a leading teaching and research institution. Stanford ranks fourth among the best colleges of 2010 by U.S. News and World Report. Stanford's graduate school also ranks second in the nation in business, education and engineering. Between 2008 and 2009, 661 doctoral degrees were awarded at Stanford, which includes Ph.D. and DMA degrees.
