Top Veterinary Technician Schools in the U.S.
Veterinary technicians (techs) are professionals who assist veterinarians in treating and caring for animals, much like a nurse would assist a doctor. A 2-year associate's degree is the most common requirement for an entry-level vet tech job, but some of the top ranked schools discussed below also offer 4-year bachelor's degree programs. All of the following programs are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
